Questions businesses ask
What does it cost?
Your first 30 days cost GHS 10, paid when you sign up. After that, plans start at GHS 50 a month, paid monthly by Mobile Money or card. Megyefo takes nothing from your sales. Paystack or Hubtel take their own small fee on each online payment, as they would anywhere.
How does the money reach me?
Customers pay into your own Paystack or Hubtel account, which pays out to your bank or Mobile Money wallet on its usual schedule. Megyefo never holds your money. Trade customers on credit pay you directly, and you record it.
Can I use my own web address?
Yes. Your shop starts on yourname.shop.megyefo.com straight away. Add your own, such as shop.yourbusiness.com, and the secure certificate is set up for you once your domain points at us.
What happens to my data?
Your shop's data is marked as yours, and everything Megyefo reads or writes for your shop is limited to it, so no other business sees it. You can download your products, customers and orders as spreadsheets whenever you like. Our privacy notice and data processing agreement say exactly how we look after it.
I keep my stock in Excel. Do I have to retype it?
No. Upload the sheet you already have, match its columns once, and your products, prices and stock are in.
Can my business customers buy on credit?
Yes. Give trade customers a credit limit and payment terms; they order on account, and you see who owes what and how late it is. Reminders go out before and after each invoice is due.
